Cher Whee Sim serves as Micron's Vice President of People Strategy, Technology & Talent Acquisition.  She leads the Global People Organisation's strategic framework, leveraging insights, technology and AI to deliver exceptional experiences and results.  She also oversees talent strategy and operations, using innovative HR solutions to attract, engage, and retain top, diverse talent.

Since joining Micron in 2010 after the company's acquisition of TECH Semiconductor, Ms. Sim has held senior leadership roles and successfully led projects.  By balancing human elements and corporate objectives, she has empowered teams to pursue excellence in the semiconductor industry.  She previously served in engineering, financial and management roles at TECH Semiconductor Singapore.

Ms. Sim chairs and sponsors the Asia chapter of the Micron Women's Leadership Network and the Singapore chapter of LGBTQ+ Allies.  She has advised councils, including Eightfold.ai, Micron's Diversity, Equality & Inclusion organisation, Micron Foundation's Singapore committee, and industry programs.  She has been recognised for her diversity and inclusion leadership.
