Jaclyn is a seasoned HR Professional with close to 30 years of experience in the full spectrum of Human Resources at both Singapore and the regional level. She has led major strategic changes in the various organizations that she has worked for and possesses rich experience in managing large-scale HR projects at local, regional, and national levels. She is currently the Chief Human Resources Officer for Certis group, a leading outsourced services partner those designs, builds, and operates multi-disciplinary smart security and integrated services. As CHRO of Certis Group, covering 30,000 global employees in 5 regions, she steers the global human resources strategy, aligning it with our corporate vision to drive excellence, innovation, and growth across our diverse operations. Her role involves fostering a high-performance culture that values diversity, inclusion, and continuous learning, ensuring Certis remains at the forefront of the security industry. Jaclyn also holds the concurrent role of Chief Executive of the Certis Corporate University (CCU). CCU is the first of its kind corporate university for the security industry, equipping Certis employees with the relevant knowledge and skillsets to be future-ready. It trains 10,000 frontline employees in CCU yearly and offer a plethora of AI training to develop citizen developers. The university also has an Institute for Management Development that incorporates a comprehensive curriculum to strengthen leadership capability.

In Jaclyn’s previous role as Chief Human Resources Officer for the Singapore University of Technology and Design, she worked with the board, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), senior academic leadership, and the Ministry of Education, to set up the initial strategic roadmap, talent strategy, as well as the human resource frameworks and structure needed to build the fourth public university. In partnership with MIT, she worked with the senior team to set up the International Design Centre, and many eminent research institutes within SUTD which have gained international prominence. Jaclyn was also instrumental in recruiting many top academics globally to join SUTD in its formative years. Today, many of its faculty have reached international standing in key fields of research and have produced many talented students who have made much impact in the society. Jaclyn was accorded the Public Administration Medal (Silver) in 2018 for her contributions to Education.
